This dog was the runt of the litter and my mother was warned that she would probably be a bit more difficult than the others. Initially, being a puppy she was hard to house break, but as she got older she would go to the bathroom either in her crate or on the floor even though she was trained to go outside.

She jumped on everyone, if you were laying down she would jump all over your face and she was really rough. It didn't seem to matter how much attention she got, it wasn't really ever enough. She barked over anything, and sometimes wouldn't stop for long periods of time. She had her moments of being really sweet but she was very defiant and did what she wanted to do. She isn't very family oriented either. This seems to be a dog that needs a lot of patience and she doesn't learn very quickly. She was adorable, but a handful.

It had a lot to do with the animal being the right fit though. If you were calm to her and patient she would kind of listen but it was a struggle to get her to obey.
