When neighbors suggested we bring Jack to their farm to help exterminate some rabbits we thought, why not? Let's see what happens. It was quite a sight to watch him. He chased and caught but did not kill at least one rabbit every time we brought him to the farm. He did seem to be in his element.

Salukis and greyhounds are quite similar. Greyhounds are generally faster. Salukis are a bit smaller, lighter and more agile than greyhounds. My Saluki Greyhound mix is truly an athlete--he is both incredibly fast and agile. And he can also jump over six feet high.

On the down side: my Saluki Greyhound does seem to injure fairly easily. Scrapes and scratches and sprains have meant numerous trips to the veterinarian. With his feathery fur, he also requires a bit more grooming than a greyhound. But he is such a gorgeous dog. It is totally worth it. Just take a look at the pictures I've posted here.
