Shelly was an extremely joyfull dog. It is the best friend you can have! A very loyal and well behaved dog I ever had. Collies are smart, intuitive, easily trained and get along with everyone and everything.
Doesn't bark at strangers at the door, good with all our other pets.
This breed really needs to be kept occupied at all times, after all they are a working breed making a great herding dog. When I had mine, she certainly liked to be on the go all day long which kept me extremely fit too.
Easy to train - but they also learn bad habits very quickly, so it's imperative that you know what you're doing.
