Brakkie is local language for "small dog". From a young age she loved to chase anything you throw for her. Her favorite pastime now is swimming in our dam, she first learned this habit when we threw a stick into the dam and she dived in and retrieved the stick for me. Now she swims to retrieve sticks, to herd the ducks or just for leisure.
