Daschund - Wonderful little terrors

My daschund was a rescue, but we got him when he was still young and we were able to train him well. Although he started out very skittish and anxious, with love and attention he has become a much friendlier dog. Not the brightest of breeds, he still wants to love and please you and is constantly by your side. He does bark quite a bit at strangers, and for his small size is rather loud. Overall, a great small dog, very loving and loyal, and a great cuddler. The only concern is spinal problems: he has injured his back more than once jumping off of a high couch or a bed.
