My family got my dog from someone who abused him. He was kept in a crate for the first year of his life and fed minimal food. When we got him, he had crate marks on his body, and was 50 pounds underweight. After lots of love and treatment he is average weight now and perfectly healthy, although he still has crate marks in his nose. He was very hard to train, because of his high energy level, but none the less, it was fun. He sometimes gets in the way because he is big, and he ends up stepping on your feet a lot, but he doesn't mean any harm. He loves people but he is also very alert with strangers and a great guard dog. I've had him for 3 years now and he's the best thing that has come into my life.
