This is a sweet puppy I saved from a family who really didn't want a dog. Intent on finding a home for him, I fell in love with him. It was his own doing, he tried very hard to do everything I asked, he bonded deeply with me. I found myself even missing him at work. He was everyone's friend with occasional scared reactions to Halloween costumes or cowboy hats. He gets along with my cat but the cat doesn't trust him, so I don't completely trust him with smaller animals, either. He always draws a crowd at the dog park and loves to fetch and swim. He is also the perfect running dog. He's gone 13 miles and could keep going, leading me to suspect he's got dalmatian in there somewhere. He's a sensitive dog, the one time I accidentally bopped him in the nose with the broom he went from chasing it to cowering in its presence. He never forgets friends and foes either. He knows who he loves, running up to them at the dog park even after months of not seeing them. He is happy and affectionate and loves a good joke. I couldn't ask for a better dog!
