Abbey is our miniature poodle. She is the definition of bright-eyed and smart. Naturally intelligent, these poodles are very easy to train at an early age and love the process. They crave your affection and attention so the more you want to teach them, the more they love it and respond positively. I have never seen a dog recognize the music from a certain commercial and rush to the TV to check out the dogs in the ad, Amazing. Very energetic and athletic, miniature poodles need their walks and a yard to enjoy. Again, they love games and will play until you drop. Be aware that these smart, personable dogs do crave your attention and can get lonely and stressed. They are way too smart to leave alone for long periods of time. It's not fair to them. Great with kids and other dogs. Cautious at first but quickly make friends. A wonderful breed to own.
