Eisley was a fantastic dog, for the most part. She loved to be around everyone and play. She was okay with kids and new people, but definitely preferred to be around those people that she knew the best. She had been given to us by family members to keep while they had a new baby. They were afraid of her not getting the same amount of attention that she had been previously. While she loved to be around us and we loved her, she had a tendency to pee on the carpet in the living room in the middle of the night. We think she felt abandoned by her previous owners. The smell was awful. She was housebroken otherwise. Her previous owners had no issues with her peeing on the carpet before or after the time that we had her. Beyond the peeing, one of the other frustrating things about her was that she liked to run out of the front door after a bath and rub in the smelliest things that she could find, so we would have to bathe her again. She was a loving dog, but we had a few issues with her. I don't know that I would ever get a rat terrier again.
