Staffies obviously have a reputation for snapping, and you definitely wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a bite (beware of allowing kids near their beds/personal space), but I find it's as much about the individual dog's upbringing as anything else and we've had absolutely no problems. She's absolutely sweet with young children, and just craves attention. Some bizarre behaviour, including playing with massive stones as if they were sticks, which is quickly wearing down her teeth. Once came home to find her with a chicken in her mouth (live thankfully), sternly saved it and have never had that issue again. I love these dogs, full of energy and love.
