These little spit fires are cute and have a personally of their own! They sometimes act like a "big dog" but in a small dogs body. This breed is considered hypoallergenic, meaning it has has hair instead of fur. Yorkies are fun to teach tricks to. They love to please their owners and tend to pick up on tricks quickly. As far as grooming goes, keep a brush nearby to brush out any dirt that may get caught up in their hair. Some people grow their yorkies hair out long or they stick with the puppy cut. A great breed to have if you live in an apartment. Because the neck of this breed can be delicate, its important to use a leash attached to a harness rather then a collar.
