Chest X-rays (chest radiographs) allow a veterinarian to see the condition of organs and bones inside the chest cavity of a dog. Chest X-rays are performed for a variety of reasons: for example when a dog shows signs of heart or lung disease; when the dog has been in an accident; or has cancer.
