, so you have to be a very dedicated owner and take good care of them. Grooming is necessary as well (but you can have a lot of fun with it- make them look like lions or foxes)! They can also be quite territorial- new animals or other dogs entering the house can be difficult. And, they seem to get more temperamental as they age. But, they will be loyal to their owner till the end- no doubt. They are definitely loyal lap dogs. And... Insanely adorable! Well worth the work!){kind=link}

 are lovely pets. Because Yorkies are generally hyper, fun animals- Chorkies can be great with kids, but because of their size, you do need to be careful. It does seem that Chorkies are less fragile than other dogs of the same size, but they are still prone to joint issues (Mine hasn't had any thankfully!). Shedding depends upon which breed comes out stronger (but generally seems to be minimal either way). Smaller dogs do overall seem to be more difficult to train, but are definitely trainable if you are dedicated. Again, temperament may depend upon which breed (Yorkie or Chihuahua) is dominant. Mine shows signs of both (capable of being a lap dog for a lone owner, while also loving to play around with everyone else from time to time). My dog looks more like a Yorkie (way more fur than a Chihuahua), but they can come with less hair (if that is what you prefer, don't worry, it is out there)! Overall, they are happy, fun, beautiful animals that shouldn't require any more work than any other dog. ){kind=link}
