 or ears docked. I'll say from the start that this dog eats a ton. And now that she's about 8 months old, and weighs about 80 pounds or more, she eats more than we realized.<br><br>I've dealt with other English Mastiffs before and they are all stubborn. While fun loving and sociable, they do tend to attach more to one person in the home, usually the one that gives them the most attention and care. Then, they can be a bit overprotective of that person and almost smother you (literally) with love. Tiny considers herself a lap dog still, even though she's far from it. One thing that you do have to watch for is that they love to lean into you - and will knock down little kids and even adults. <br><br>They do need a lot of exercise and plenty of room to run. If you have smaller breed dogs, like a Chihuahua or Weenie dog, be careful letting them play together. The Mastiff can easily hurt the small dog, not intending to, and even kill them. <br><br>One of the main health problems with the Mastiff is that they have hip problems as they get older, so you do need to be aware of that. Make sure that you read up on them before getting one as they are an expensive breed of dog and you don't want to do anything that can hurt the dog at all.
