She was an extremely poorly puppy when she was rescued and her health has suffered as a result. She is so happy go lucky, cute, and LOVES people, a real crowd pleaser. Loves to play but has the typical hound nose which gets her into everything. I used to bring her to work with me and one day she put her entire head in this woman's purse and I said "oh you must have food in it", to which she replied, " Oh yes, about a week ago I did have treats in there". Maui always told me where the food was. Not the most reliable offleash as most hounds get too busy following their noses. She also was excellent at K9 Karaoke, she could really sing.){kind=link}

She came to me as an untrained 5-month-old puppy who hadn't been anywhere or seen anything. We had a lot of catching up to do. She was smart as a whip and the friendliest dog, even taking in my other small pets as her own "babies". She insisted on having something in her mouth to go outside for her morning pee, in true retriever style, it was usually a rolled pair of socks from the laundry basket if she couldn't find a toy. She was easy to train, great with people, other dogs, and animals and had a very soft and gentle mouth. She was the perfect dog. I often wonder how I've digressed so bad from the perfect dog to what I have now. Lab X with anything will be very active, so as long as you can manage their activity level and keep their mouth busy, you have a good shot at having a great dog. They are super intelligent so need mental stimulation and challenges. They do not have to be a working dog, but they need to be challenged and physically and y mentally exercised daily.){kind=link}
