. It had been two years since I had to leave my two most loved Labradors in Ecuador after the airline KLM didn't allow me to take them on the flight with me after providing me with the wrong information. I had all the paperwork, vaccinations, the dogs in their crates with their passports ready to go waiting at the airport and I was denied putting them on the plane as I needed to flight them with a pet travel agent and it was a Sunday and they were closed. I had to put them up for adoption that day and that was the last time I ever saw y two labradors. For obvious reasons I chose not to buy anther dog for some time and it was a very difficult decision to commit to another dog. We chose a scotty because we didn't want a very large breed but a small breed that would at and be independant like the larger breeds. I don't like toy dog breeds and yappy dogs and when was doing my research online I found out that these are very independent and intelligent dogs. Well this has been the truth with Arty our scotty. He is very clever and can do a number of tricks. He loves people and other animals and doesn't bark or yap for no reason. He is extremely independent and since we got him he has never shown anxiety. He just does his thing and every evening at about 7pm he nags me to play ball with him in the corridor of our house. Once he has tired he takes his ball to bed and sleeps peacefully al the night. He is toilet trained and barks at us when he wants to be let outside. This is a wonderful breed of dog that is often overlooked for more popular breeds but I would highly recommend this breed over many other similar sized breeds. A great breed indeed.){kind=link}

 and her biscuits. She was a really nice calm dog and I used to take to for walks in the park by myself when I was about 8 or 9 years old. She was such a nice dog and she even won the price for the second biggest dog at a mile dog walk with me. She was a real baby and she loved to spend time with me and play fetch with her tennis ball. I loved this dog to bits and she really taught me a lot about dogs as a kid. My mother is a vet and I grew up in veterinary practice surrounded by 40 to 60 dogs at a time, but of all the dogs that stayed at the practice Lambert was their the longest and she was my best friend. I would recommend this breed for any family as they are a great gentle breed if you train them right and take them for walks everyday.){kind=link}
