 and follow me (nipping at my ankles constantly). It was a lot of fun, but very frustrating. Some of the younger kids in my family loved to play with Jessie, even though they were sometimes bitten to the point of bleeding. When I went on vacation for a week, my neighbor took her for a walk, and Jessie ran into a street and was run over and maimed. She certainly would not have survived, and so we decided to end her suffering and put her down. This was extremely traumatizing for the young kids who were attached to Jessie. <br><br>Some lab/shepherd mix dogs I have known are very obedient, but many are absolutely insane. Jessie had a particularly strong personality. If you live in a densely urban area, or if you don't want to have white hair at the age of 20, I would not recommend this breed. If you have an intensely wild temperament, maybe this is the right dog for you.){kind=link}
